This innovative new program creates an individual member savings funded in tax- deferred accounts for the benefit of our member physicians in North Carolina and Virginia. Medical Mutual has allocated $6.25 million in the aggregate to The Legacy Fund in 2009. Individual Legacy Fund balances may grow with future contributions from the Company and interest to be paid to member physicians upon a qualifying event.
