NC Medical Society Employee Benefit Plan

The NCMS Plan, sponsored by the North Carolina Medical Society, offers group health, dental and life benefits to participating physician practices. Formed in 1998, the NCMS Plan has grown to provide benefits to physician practices in nearly every county of North Carolina.

MMIC Agency is the exclusive representative for the NCMS Plan, and provides customer service to participating physician practices.

Selective Insurance Company

Medical Mutual teamed up with Selective Insurance Group in 2003 to provide physicians with comprehensive business insurance coverage. Based in Branchville, New Jersey, Selective operates in 20 eastern and mid-western states and had record annual revenues of $1.2 billion in 2002. For the past 42 years, Selective has received an A+ (superior) rating from A.M. Best as a result of the company's solid capitalization, favorable operating performance, and strong regional market presence. Selective offers business owners, worker's compensation, commercial umbrella, and business auto coverage. They also offer fiduciary liability bonds and ERISA bonds.

Triangle Securities

Triangle Securities is a privately owned asset management, brokerage, and investment banking firm headquartered in Raleigh. Medical Mutual entered into a strategic alliance relationship with Triangle Securities shortly after the firm was established in 2000. The founders and principals of the firm have over 100 years of experience in the securities and manage more than $400 million in assets for more than 2,500 clients. Triangle Securities is a registered broker/dealer, member of Securities Industry Association, Securities Investor Protection and is a Registered Investment Advisor under the Investment Advisory Act of 1940. Their primary services include asset/wealth management, group pensions, and estate planning.
