In July 2010, Medical Mutual redeemed remaining Guaranty Capital investments to its qualified members one year ahead of schedule. Since 2003, our members have invested approximately $10.5 million in Guaranty Capital to support the company’s operations. Some of our members have Guaranty Capital investments that date back to Medical Mutual's inception and we appreciate the loyalty they have shown to the company.
These financial investments in Medical Mutual have helped us provide our members with stable, reliable professional liability protection since 1975, and to create a Company that is financially strong and viable. Medical Mutual maintains an “A” rating from AM Best, which tangibly demonstrates the strong financial position of the Company.
